My first sales role was from 2011 to 2012 working for Kodak for no commission, and I was the #1 performer in my office 100% of the days I worked there, simply because of my competitive drive. I had no way to improve my pay since there was no commission, so I tried other career paths and community college for a short period of time, and my next sales role was in 2014 working for State FarmIinsurance, but my office closed down within 3 months. After that, I tried community college again for a year, and then from the end 2015 to the beginning of 2021 I was a one-call-closer for multiple exterior remodeling companies in Los Angeles and Texas, and I averaged around $150k-$200k per month consistently. In 2020 I started an SEO agency and later a marketing agency focused on contractors, my average ticket price was $10k-15k up front, my highest one-call-close was for $25k.
